The steel rods I bought have a diameter of 4 mm. I had to redesign a cornerpiece for this.
I did some changes to the Cura settings. Heat 220 degreeds and Infill speed at 35. I set the infill speed lower then the print speed which is 50. I think I had in previous setting the infill speed on 70. Maybe that caused the problem.
Cura settings
Heat 220
Infill speed 35
In the image is 12% done. The infill looks a lot better.
And here after 33% is done. Time about 0:24 hours. A lot better....
After 95% was done.
And after 1:27 hours it was ready. Here you see the bottompart where the supportmaterial was printed. I tried the item on the metalrod and it fits. But with the print there is a strange thing. The two holes which were printed horizontally are larger then the hole which was printed vertically.
All in all. This cornerpiece is ready to use. The print went very good and the infill till the end remained good and without holes in it. Now I have to print the next 7 pieces...
